As I was checking my AdSense reports today in the planning of the purchase of a new iPod Touch (or Evo, we’ll see how it goes), I noticed a very interesting stat. Apparently AdSense for Mobile Content has made almost the same the amount of money as the regular content ads this month.
Now I found this neat because
- There is only 1 Mobile Content ad compared to the 2 Regular Content ads (banner and block_
- The eCPM for the Mobile Content is $10.20 compared to $1.10
- The CTR is 3.08% compared to 1.19%
I’m making note of this here because it shows that either Google has some really good ads or that mobile content and users are for real. I’m going with the second choice, and now I’m going to look more into optimizing ads location for mobile content and if your a blog administrator, I would recommended that to.
(btw, I think I’ll go with the Touch, what do you think?)
